Software Developer, IT Manager and Entrepreneur

Hi, my name is Nils Buschhüter. I’m an experienced IT Manager and Fullstack Software Developer from near Düsseldorf, Germany. I am passionate about information technology, especially managing the interface between stakeholders and IT. For over 15 years, I have been involved in the design, development and integration of software architectures as well as in managing the growth of IT teams in the areas of software development and application management.

I have a wide range of expertise: from requirements management and software development to the operation of applications, IT security and IT support. I am not only familiar with the management perspective, but also have practical state-of-the-art experience in all areas, which I am constantly expanding. My leadership approach is characterized by courage, optimism and empathy. I believe in inspiring and motivating people to give their best, whether in a team or in a project.

My career started hanging around the internet in the late nineties. I started teaching myself how to make websites first as a hobby, later with a university education. I gained so much of my today’s experience through the open-source community, like personal blogs, tutorials and GitHub projects.

In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, I founded my own company to help other small businesses and start-ups with my expertise to keep up with digitalization and help them grow. I love developing and scaling web applications and online stores.
